In a sprawling metropolis that never sleeps but always forgets, a late-night radio DJ begins receiving cryptic requests from public payphones that legally no longer exist. As the last trains rattle through the city, two insomniac strangers find themselves drawn into the liminal spaces of the night, chasing a phantom frequency that promises to cure the city's quiet ache. Midnight Static is a moody, slow-burn mystery about the ghosts we leave behind in the wires.

When the sun dips below the smog line, the mega-city transforms into a neon labyrinth. By day, Ren is nobody; by night, he’s a rogue courier navigating the rooftops on a modified electric bike, delivering "afterglows"—illegal, digitized memories of a world before the concrete took over. But when a high-profile delivery goes south, Ren is forced to plunge into the city's deepest underground sectors, where the neon light doesn't reach and the shadows have teeth.
